The Parks Department is now looking for a Park Worker; the job is varied and flexible in a work environment with great opportunities for personal development.

The department consists of 20 employees and belongs to the Technical Service area within the Community Building Sector, which is responsible for maintaining and managing the municipality's public green spaces and property areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park worker, you will have a highly varied job where you will work with everything from lawn mowing, weed control, hedge trimming, tree pruning, tree felling, and cleaning. You will mostly work outdoors with various vehicles, machines, and equipment. The job also includes some administrative tasks in the form of text management through contact with the public and other stakeholders.

We work alternately individually or in groups. The position includes on-call duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has worked for a few years and has experience in the park or gardening industry. You have experience in winter road maintenance and machine operation.

You have a high school education, preferably with a focus on gardening and landscaping or equivalent.

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the job includes administrative tasks.

You have a B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have the following certifications:

• Work on the road
• Chainsaw A-B-C
• Playground inspection
• Plant knowledge
• C driver's license
